To provide a scaffold board fixing device that can be utilized as a means for fixing a scaffold board to a supporting steel pipe when a temporary work scaffold is assembled under a bridge, for example.SOLUTION: A scaffold board fixing device is provided with a first hook 3 and a second hook 4 to be engaged with a supporting steel pipe 1, a belt fastening unit 5, and a fastening belt 6 whose one end is connected to the upper end of the first hook 3; the belt fastening unit 5 comprises: a main body 16 having one end axially supported and connected to the upper end of the second hook 4 by a first horizontal support shaft 21 so as to be freely undulated, and extending to the second hook 4 toward the side opposite to the side on which a scaffolding board 2 is located; an operating piece axially supported and connected to the other end of the main body by a second horizontal support shaft 24 so as to be freely undulated; and a detachable engaging means 18 for automatically engaging the operation piece with the body 16 when the operation piece is laid down so as to be superposed on the body 16; the whole of the belt fastening unit 5 is projected to the outside of one side of the scaffold board 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
