To provide a manhole pump abnormality detection method that can reliably detect abnormalities in manhole pumps of waterworks.SOLUTION: There is provided a method in which data about the number of operations per hour and the operation time for 24 consecutive hours are input to a neural network, and, among restoration errors, a time period in which a threshold is exceeded is determined as unusual operation, and the time period in question is automatically detected as an abnormality of the pump.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
