To easily and inexpensively produce a structure that allows a PC steel member to be inserted in an appropriate position and direction in each of the top, side or bottom plate of a split-type rigid culvert.SOLUTION: There is provided a split-type rigid box culvert 1 having a top plate consisting of two or more top plate unit blocks connected together, in which straight PC steel members 112, 122, and 151 are inserted in the transverse direction near the bottom or near the top, depending on the distribution of bending moments applied to the top plate. The top plate unit blocks are, for example, a leftmost top plate unit block 111 and rightmost top plate unit block 121, which extend from the top of a side plate, and an intermediate top plate unit block 15, which is sandwiched between the leftmost top plate unit block 111 and a rightmost top plate unit block 121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
