To provide a water level prediction method of the present invention allowing accuracy of water level prediction to be improved as reducing data input amount for the water level prediction of a river by using machine learning.SOLUTION: A water level prediction method of the disclosed invention comprises inputting rainfall amount data on "an upstream of a river" in an upstream area of water level prediction points without inputting rainfall amount data on "a whole area of a river" in the upstream area of water level prediction points. Then, "only a whole coupling processing" is carried out on the rainfall amount data of "the upstream of the river" in the upstream area of the water level prediction points, without carrying "the convolution processing". Following data of (1) or (2) is input as the rainfall amount data on "the upstream of the river" in the upstream area of the water level prediction points: (1) data of "rainfall amount at an observation place " measured in the observation place on the ground; and (2) data of "analytic rainfall amount" corrected by using the rainfall amount data at the observation place measured in the observation place on the ground as radar rainfall data measured by radar reflection in the sky.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】本開示は、機械学習を用いて河川の水位を予測するにあたり、入力データ量を少なくしつつ、水位予測精度を高くすることを目的とする。【解決手段】本開示は、水位予測地点の上流域の「全流域」の雨量データを入力せず、水位予測地点の上流域の「河川上」の雨量データを入力する。そして、水位予測地点の上流域の「河川上」の雨量データに対して、「畳み込み処理」を実行せず、「全結合処理のみ」を実行する。ここで、水位予測地点の上流域の「河川上」の雨量データとして、以下の(1)又は(2)のデータを入力する:(1)地上の雨量観測所で計測された「観測所雨量」のデータ、(2)上空のレーダ反射で計測されたレーダ雨量のデータが地上の雨量観測所で計測された観測所雨量のデータを用いて補正された「解析雨量」のデータ。【選択図】図6
