To provide a reinforcing-bar arrangement inspection method and reinforcing-bar arrangement inspection device that can discriminate the diameter, steel type and use place of a reinforcing-bar with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method inspecting a reinforcing-bar arranged for constructing a reinforcing-bar concrete structure includes: a step S1 of visually inspecting a roll mark given on the surface of a reinforcing-bar and recognizing the same, or recognizing the same through a captured image by a camera before reinforcing-bar arrangement work; a step S2 of discriminating the diameter of the reinforcing-bar and its steel type based on the recognized roll mark; and a step S3 of capturing a reinforcing-bar arrangement status of the reinforcing-bar by the camera after reinforcing-bar arrangement work, analyzing the captured image to acquire the roll mark of the reinforcing-bar, and recognizing the diameter of the reinforcing-bar and its steel type and use place, which correspond to the roll mark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
