To provide a display panel with good stability during placement.SOLUTION: The display panel of the present invention is a self-standing display panel having a display panel 1 on a front surface side, and that can be opened and closed by longitudinally opening its legs. A weight mounting rack 7 that folds and opens and closes on the back side of the panel 1 as the panel 1 folds and opens and closes is connected to the lower end side of the panel 1. The rack 7 with the legs of the panel 1 extended open is used as a mechanism to maintain the self-supporting posture of the panel 1. The panel 1 is folded into the bottom surface of the rack 7 in an open leg posture with the panel 1 touching the ground, and is protruded downward from the bottom surface of the rack 7 by lifting it. By lowering the panel 1 again in the ground direction, the protruding end touches the ground and the folding operation of the rack 7 is started.
