To provide an opening device for a blowout panel that can secure a large open area of an opening part.SOLUTION: The opening device for a blowout panel is an opening device for a blowout panel which closes an opening part formed in a wall part of a nuclear reactor building. The opening device includes: a driving unit located in a position in the inside of the nuclear reactor building, the position being overlapped with the opening part in a front view of the opening part, the driving unit being capable of pressing the blowout panel to the outside of the opening part; and a supporting mechanism having a base end part fixed to a part off the opening part in the nuclear reactor building and a top end part for supporting the driving unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
