To provide a building material lifter capable of reducing work interruption time.SOLUTION: The building material lifter includes: a base member 10 capable of being placed on any mounting surface F; a movable member 20 engaged in a movable manner in the vertical direction with respect with the base member 10; and a lifting mechanism 30 that raises and lowers the movable member 20. The movable member 20 integrally includes: a building material bottom receiving part A that protrudes in one direction along a placement surface F to receive the bottom of a building material X placed thereon; and a building material upright surface support part B that is close to or in contact with a vertical face x1 of the building material X above the building material bottom receiving part A. The lifting mechanism 30 includes: an electric motor 33 as a power source; and a battery 34 that supplies electric power to the electric motor 33.
