To provide a building material lifter capable of improving the independence performance.SOLUTION: The building material lifter includes: a base member 10 capable of being placed on a desired placement surface F; a movable member 20 that is engaged in a movable manner up and down with respect to base member 10; and an elevating mechanism 30 that lifts up and down the movable member 20. The movable member 20 integrally includes: a building material bottom receiving part A that protrudes in one direction along the placement surface F to receive the bottom of a building material X placed thereon; and a building material upright surface support part B that comes into contact with or gets closer to a vertical face x1 of the building material X above the building material bottom receiving part A.
