To provide a vehicle door opening-closing device which can safely close a rear door of a double-door type vehicle door while suppressing damages to a load and the rear door.SOLUTION: Provided is a vehicle door opening-closing device which includes a vehicle door for openably/closably covering a doorway on a vehicle side part and constituted of a double-door type front door and a rear door, and automatically opens and closes the rear door by an occupant's operation. The vehicle door opening-closing device comprises: a first door closing switch and a second door closing switch that accept an operation to close the rear door; first door closing means that starts closing the rear door and stops closing the rear door at a predetermined angle when the first door closing switch is operated while a door opening is larger than the predetermined angle; and second door closing means that fully closes the rear door when the second door closing switch is operated while the door opening is smaller than the predetermined angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
