To provide a contamination diffusion inhibiting sheet that can absorb a sufficient amount of a liquid harmful compound and can prevent a leak of a gaseous harmful compound.SOLUTION: A contamination diffusion inhibiting sheet 1 has a liquid holding layer 2 that absorbs and holds a liquid harmful compound, and a gas adsorbing layer 3 that is laminated on the liquid holding layer 2 and adsorbs a gaseous harmful compound.
