To provide a solar radiation shielding device capable of obtaining a view and indirect light while shielding solar radiation and preventing rainwater from entering into a case.SOLUTION: A solar radiation shielding device 1 provided outside a wall opening 12 of a building has: a case 4 installed outside a lower end or a lower part of the wall opening 12; a shielding body 3 stored in the case 4 and pulled up from an opening 41 provided in the case 4 to spread and shield the wall opening 12 from the outside; and an opening cover 5 connected to the shielding body 3 to close the opening 41 when the shielding body 3 is stored in the case 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】日射を遮蔽しつつ眺望や間接光を得ることができるとともに、ケースの内部に雨水が入り込むことを防止できる日射遮蔽装置を提供する。【解決手段】建物の壁開口部１２の外側に設けられる日射遮蔽装置１において、壁開口部１２の下端部または下方の外側に設置されるケース４と、ケース４に収納され、ケース４に設けられた開口部４１から引き上げられて広がり壁開口部１２を外側から遮蔽する遮蔽体３と、遮蔽体３に連結されて、遮蔽体３がケース４に収納されると開口部４１を塞ぐ開口部カバー５と、を有する。【選択図】図３
