To provide a vehicle outdoor handle device and a control method for the vehicle outdoor handle device which are capable of inhibiting the entry of pathogenic or harmful microorganisms and the like into a cabin.SOLUTION: A vehicle outdoor handle system 10 includes a door handle 11, a sensor 13, a pump 15, a tank 17, and a control unit 19. The door handle 11 is provided on a door outer panel of a vehicle. The sensor 13 outputs a signal in response to the proximity of operator's fingers to the door handle 11. The pump 15 feeds liquid stored in the tank 17 to a first pipe 15a and a second pipe 15b. The control unit 19 detects the proximity of the operator's fingers to the door handle 11 based on the signal output from the sensor 13. The control unit 19, upon detection of the proximity of the operator's fingers to the door handle 11, discharges the liquid stored in the tank 17 from a discharge port 11a by operation of the pump 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】病原性又は有害性を有する微生物等の車室内への侵入を抑制することができる車両のアウトハンドル装置及び車両のアウトハンドル装置の制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両のアウトハンドル装置１０は、ドアハンドル１１と、センサ１３と、ポンプ１５と、タンク１７と、制御部１９とを備える。ドアハンドル１１は、車両のドアアウターパネルに設けられる。センサ１３は、ドアハンドル１１に対する操作者の手指の接近に応じた信号を出力する。ポンプ１５は、タンク１７に貯留されている液体を第１配管１５ａ及び第２配管１５ｂに供給する。制御部１９は、センサ１３から出力される信号に基づいて、ドアハンドル１１に対する操作者の手指の接近の有無を検知する。制御部１９は、ドアハンドル１１に対する操作者の手指の接近が有ることを検知した場合、ポンプ１５の作動によってタンク１７に貯留されている液体を吐出口１１ａから吐出させる。【選択図】図１
