To provide a steel frame structure construction method, which is superior in workability.SOLUTION: A steel frame structure construction method in this invention comprises: a column-forming step in which a column 3 is formed with split parts of a column bottom part 4 and a column main part 5; a move-starting point side step in which a steel frame structure is movably constituted by arranging the column main part 5 in a move-starting point area S and installing beams (a beam 61 or the like) between these adjacent column main parts; a steel frame structure moving step in which a steel frame structure 2M movably constituted in the move-starting point side step is laterally moved from the move-starting point area S up to a move-ending point area E; and a move-ending point side step in which, in the move-ending point area E, a steel frame structure 2 is built being fixed on a column foundation in the move-ending point area E by fixing each column main part 5 of the steel frame structure that has been laterally moved to each column bottom part 4 that is fixed to a column foundation 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
