To provide a ventilation seal material capable of preventing infiltration of water from a horizontal joint formed between a sash and an outer wall arranged on the upper side of the sash while securing ventilation by the horizontal joint, and a technique related to the same.SOLUTION: A ventilation seal material 1 is provided in a ventilation layer formed between an outer wall and a skeleton facing a surface of the outer wall facing an indoor side on an upper side of a sash. The ventilation seal material 1 is provided with a lip mounting plate 4, laterally long lateral lips 411, 412 and 413, and longitudinally long longitudinal lips 431 and 432. The horizontal lips 411, 412 and 413 extend to divide a void into upper and lower parts and close the void, and the vertical lips 431 and 432 extend to divide the void into right and left parts and close the void. A notch 411H is formed in the horizontal lip 411. A notch 412H is formed in the lateral lip 412 at a position that does not overlap the notch 411H in the up-down direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】サッシと当該サッシの上側に配置される外壁との間に形成される横目地による通気を確保しつつ当該横目地からの浸水を防止することが可能な通気シール材及びそれに関連する技術の提供。【解決手段】通気シール材１は、サッシの上側において外壁と当該外壁のうち室内側を向く面に対向する躯体との間に形成された通気層に設けられる。通気シール材１は、リップ取付板４と、横方向に長尺な横リップ４１１，４１２，４１３と、縦方向に長尺な縦リップ４３１，４３２とを備える。横リップ４１１，４１２，４１３は、空隙を上下に分断して塞ぐように延在する。縦リップ４３１，４３２は、空隙を左右に分断して塞ぐように延在する。横リップ４１１には、切り欠き４１１Ｈが形成されている。横リップ４１２には、上下方向に関して切り欠き４１１Ｈと重ならない位置に切り欠き４１２Ｈが形成されている。【選択図】図１
