To provide a piping unit suppressed in inspection frequency of a drain trap installed in the drain piping of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A piping unit 10 has a first drain pipe 21 draining drain water, a first drain trap 23 installed at an intermediate part of the first drain pipe 21, a second drain pipe 22 bypassing a section between an upstream side and a downstream side of the first drain trap 23 in the first drain pipe 21, a second drain trap 24 installed at an intermediate part of the second drain pipe 22, and a detection part 27 detecting drain water in the second drain pipe 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
