To improve water-tightness on the lower end side of a guide rail by a simple structure excellent in workability.SOLUTION: A water stop shutter device, including an opening/closing body 10 that performs a closing operation so as to partition a space and brings a lower end portion into contact with an opposed immovable surface G to fully close the space, and guide rails 20 on both sides erected on the immovable surface G so as to surround and vertically guide both end portions in the width direction of the opening/closing body 10, in which the opening/closing body 10 in a fully closed state is pressed against the immovable surface G and/or the guide rails 20 on both sides to partition the inside and outside of the opening/closing body 10 in a watertight manner, and an elastic watertight material 26 is sandwiched between the lower end portion of each guide rail 20 and the immovable surface G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
