To provide a sound absorption device which can be easily retrofitted.SOLUTION: A sound absorption device is fitted to a space and comprises a sound absorption body installed on a ceiling surface facing the space, a wall surface or a floor surface or at least any surface of a structure to be installed in the space (hereinafter referred to as 'ceiling surface or the like' or exposed in the space. The sound absorption body has a long body, a slit formed in that body and a cavity in contact with the slit, and absorbs sound in the space by communicating the inner slit with the space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 簡易に後付けの可能な吸音器を提供すること。【解決手段】空間に取り付ける吸音器である。空間に面する天井面、壁面または床面、及び、空間内に設置する構造物等の少なくともいずれか（以下、「天井面等」）の表面、または、空間内に露出して設置される吸音器本体を備える。この吸音器本体は細長い本体と、この本体に形成されたスリットと、同スリットに連通する空洞を有し、前記空間にこの内スリットを連通させて空間内の音を吸音する。【選択図】 図１
