To provide a shielding material opening/closing device capable of stopping a long body for shielding material operation at any position without pulling it out from a shielding material rail in the shielding material opening/closing device of a type rewinding the long body for the shielding material operation installed between a building and the shielding material, by using restoring force of a spiral spring.SOLUTION: A shielding material opening/closing device of a type rewinding the long body, such as a string and a rope by using restoring force of a spiral spring, includes a free-stop mechanism capable of stopping the long body for shielding material operation at any position on a shielding material rail without pulling it out from the shielding material rail. The free-stop mechanism is configured to stop a movable body movably suspended on the shielding material rail at any position on the shielding material rail by a friction method, and to move it by releasing the brake, where the operation is manually performed by a short operation baton.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】 建物と遮蔽材との間に架設した遮蔽材操作用長尺体を、ゼンマイの復元力を利用して巻き取る方式の遮蔽材開閉装置において、遮蔽材操作用長尺体を遮蔽材レールから引き出さずに任意の位置に止めることができる遮蔽材開閉装置の提供。【解決手段】ゼンマイの復元力を利用して紐、ロープ等の長尺体を巻き取る方式の遮蔽材開閉装置に、遮蔽材操作用長尺体を遮蔽材レールから引き出さずに当該遮蔽材レールの任意の位置に止めることができるフリーストップ機構を備える。そのフリーストップ機構は、遮蔽材レールに移動可能に吊架された可動体を、摩擦方式により遮蔽材レールの任意の位置に停止させたり、その制動を解除して移動させることができる仕組みとなすともに、その操作を短尺の操作バトンにより手動で行う方式となす。【選択図】 図３
