To provide a root wrapping structure and a construction method of root wrapping that can reduce labor required for construction.SOLUTION: There is provided a configuration including: a base material 20 fixed to a side 1a of a column (steel column 1); a panel 40 fixed to the base material 20 and covering the side 1a of the column (steel column 1) all around so that a gap is formed with the side 1a of the column (steel column 1) and whose side constitutes a finished surface of a root wrapping of the column (steel column 1); a bottom (plate 30) fixed to the column so as to close the gap between the side 1a of the column (steel column 1) and the panel 40 from below; and concrete 4 filled into a space A demarcated by the side 1a of the column (steel column 1), the panel 30 and the bottom (plate 30).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
