To provide an electric shutter capable of stably driving a shutter curtain.SOLUTION: The electric shutter includes: a baseboard part located on the bottom of a shutter curtain; a motor provided to the baseboard part; a drive gear provided to the baseboard part, which is driven to rotate by the drive of the motor; a guide rail into which an edge of the shutter curtain in the width direction and the drive gear are inserted; a rack gear that is provided along the guide rail and meshes with the drive gear; and a biasing device that biases the drive gear toward the rack gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
