To provide an electric shutter having an easily replaceable communication unit.SOLUTION: An electric shutter 1 includes a shutter case 3, a cylindrical wind-up body 4 disposed in the shutter case 3, a shutter surface member 5 mounted on the wind-up body 4 for winding up and extend the same, an electric motor 6 for rotatably driving the wind-up body 4, a control section 7 for controlling the electric motor 6, and a communication unit 9 for receiving an operation signal from an operation section 8, converting the operation signal into an instruction signal for the control section 7, and transmitting the instruction signal to the control section 7. The electric motor 6 and the control section 7 are disposed inside the wind-up body 4. The communication unit 9 is disposed outside the wind-up body 4 in the shutter case 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
