To provide a connection method and a connection structure for precast members that can ensure the quality of filling materials to be cured.SOLUTION: A connection method according to one embodiment includes a step to install a first precast member 10 with an end surface 13 having a first bearing plate 60 mounted thereto, a step to install a second precast member 20 with an end surface 23 having a second bearing plate 70 mounted thereto, at a position where the second bearing plate 70 faces the first bearing plate 60, a step in which the first precast member 10 and the second precast member 20 are tensioned along an arrangement direction D2 via the first bearing plate 60 and the second bearing plate 70, a step to fill the space between the end surface 13 and the end surface 23 with a filling material 30, and a step to apply prestress to the cured filling material 30 along the arrangement direction after the filling material 30 has cured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
