【課題】取り扱いが容易で、揮発性有機溶剤の含有量が少ない水系プライマーであって、塗布後に加熱乾燥させても湧きや膨れが無く、その乾燥時間を短縮させることができ、路面標示用塗料との付着性が十分な路面標示用塗料の塗装方法及びそれに用いられる路面標示用水性プライマーを提供する。【解決手段】路面に対して、合成樹脂エマルションに感熱ゲル化剤を添加し、ゲル化温度を１００℃より低い温度に調整した路面標示用水性プライマーを塗布した後に、路面標示用塗料を塗布することにより、塗布後に加熱乾燥させても湧きや膨れが無く、その乾燥時間を短縮させることができ、路面標示用塗料との付着性が十分な、取り扱いが容易で、揮発性有機溶剤の含有量が少ない路面標示用水性プライマーとなる。【選択図】なし
