To provide an energy converting device capable of efficiently generating secondary energy from primary energy and converting the energy.SOLUTION: An energy converting device 1 is equipped with a liquid tank 11 that stores liquid 10, a plurality of gas receiving portions 12 that is provided in the liquid tank 11 in a vertical direction, and can rotate or vertically more, a nozzle 13 that injects a compressed gas from a lower side of the gas receiving portion 12 located at a lower part in the liquid tank 11, a gas cylinder 14 that stores the compressed gas as a primary energy source and sends the compressed gas to the nozzle 13, output means 3 that outputs kinetic energy rotating or moving upward to an outside of the liquid tank 11 as second energy, the kinetic energy being generated in the gas receiving portion 12 by buoyancy generated when the gas receiving portion 12 receives the compressed gas injected from the nozzle 13, and a recovery device 4 that returns the gas from the liquid tank 11 to the gas cylinder 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
