To provide a protection fence comprising a support pillar having rigidity coping with collision of vehicles from different directions.SOLUTION: A protection fence comprises a plurality of support pillar bodies, and a beam-shaped body bridged between the support pillar bodies, wherein the support pillar body is formed into an approximately cylindrical shape, a core material is disposed inside the support pillar body, the core material has a rectangular cylindrical body, and a reinforcing member is arranged at a flat portion of the rectangular cylindrical body on its outer peripheral surface. Even when vehicles collide with each other at a considerable speed, the support pillar body and the core material bend to absorb shock preferably, and it is possible to obtain a similar effect against the collision from any angles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】異なる方向からの車輌の衝突に対応する剛性を支柱が備える防護柵を提供する。【解決手段】複数の支柱本体と、この各支柱本体の間に架設されるビーム状体とを備え、前記支柱本体を略円筒形状とし、この支柱本体の内側には芯材を配置し、前記芯材が角筒状体を有するとともに、この角筒状体の外周面の平坦部に補強部材を配する。車輌がかなりの速度で衝突した場合であっても、支柱本体と芯材とが屈曲して好適に衝撃を吸収し、かつどの角度からの衝突に対しても同様の効果を得られる。【選択図】 図7
