To improve safety when an entrance door is opened.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking device includes: a passenger compartment 7 for performing at least one of entry and exit of a vehicle; an entrance door 4 provided at an entrance of the passenger compartment 7; an external detection sensor 34 for detecting a person or vehicle in a predetermined monitoring area provided near the entrance door 4 outside the passenger compartment; and a control device for opening the entrance door 4 when no person or vehicle is detected by the external detection sensor 34. The control device stops the opening operation of the entrance door 4 when a person or vehicle is detected in the monitoring area while the entrance door 4 is being opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】出入口扉を開けるときの安全性を向上させること。【解決手段】機械式駐車装置は、車両の入庫及び出庫の少なくともいずれか一方を行う乗降室７と、乗降室７の出入口に設けられた出入口扉４と、乗降室外であって、出入口扉４の近傍に設けられた所定の監視領域における人又は車両を検知する外部検知センサ３４と、外部検知センサ３４によって人又は車両が検知されていない状態で出入口扉４の開扉を行う制御装置とを備える。制御装置は、出入口扉４の開扉中に、監視領域に人又は車両が検知された場合に、出入口扉４の開動作を停止させる。【選択図】図２
