To provide a transfer film that enables transfer, onto an exterior material as a transfer target, of a transfer layer having a surface protective layer excellent in water repellency and oil repellency.SOLUTION: The transfer film is used for an exterior material, and has a release film and a transfer layer. The transfer layer has a surface protective layer, and the surface protective layer forms a surface layer on the release film side of the transfer layer. The content of silicon atoms measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy at the release film-side surface of the surface protective layer is from 3 atomic% to 30 atomic% inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
