To provide a hydration heat inhibitor for hydraulic composition which can be applied to the formulation of general-purpose hydraulic compositions such as Portland cement, which can sufficiently inhibit the hydration heat and produce concrete and mortar with excellent strength development, with little change in the fluidity of the hydraulic composition.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a hydration heat inhibitor for hydraulic composition containing (A) a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer or its salt (a), preferably (B) a hydroxyl group-containing compound such as glycol or polyalcohol, and (C) other dispersants. The hydration heat inhibitor can sufficiently inhibit the hydration heat with little change in the fluidity of the hydraulic composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None

【課題】ポルトランドセメント等汎用の水硬性組成物配合に適用でき、水硬性組成物の流動性をほとんど変化させること無く、水和熱を十分抑制し、強度発現に優れたコンクリートおよびモルタルを製造し得る水硬性組成物用水和熱抑制剤を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明は、（Ａ）ポリカルボン酸系共重合体またはその塩（ａ）を含有し、好ましくは、（Ｂ）グリコール、多価アルコール等の水酸基含有化合物、（Ｃ）他の分散剤をさらに含有する、水硬性組成物用水和熱抑制剤を提供する。本発明の水和熱抑制剤は、水硬性組成物の流動性をほとんど変化させること無く、水和熱を十分抑制することができる。【選択図】なし
