To save an input of the information of a piping structure which is necessary for a calculation related to piping design.SOLUTION: A piping design support system is constituted by comprising: a piping member information storage part for storing piping member information being information related to a piping member including the member specification information of the piping member, and a member type; a leg part joint specification part for specifying the piping member whose member type is that of a leg part joint out of the piping member in a drawing on the basis of the member specification information and the piping member information which are imparted to each of the piping members in the drawing in which piping design in which the piping member is arranged is indicated in a three-dimensional space; and a pipe type specification part for retrieving a pipe which may be connected in a vertical upper direction with the piping member which is specified as the leg part joint by the leg part joint specification part as a base point, specifying the retrieved pipe as a vertical pipe, retrieving a pipe which may be connected in a horizontal direction with the piping member which is specified as the leg part joint by the leg part joint specification part as a base point, and specifying the retrieved pipe as a horizontal main pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】配管設計に関連する計算に必要な配管構造の情報の入力の省力化を図る。【解決手段】配管部材に関する情報であって、配管部材の部材特定情報と部材種別とを含む配管部材情報を記憶する配管部材情報記憶部と、3次元空間において配管部材を配置した配管設計が示される図面において前記配管部材ごとに付与された部材特定情報と前記配管部材情報とに基づいて、図面における配管部材のうちから部材種別が脚部継手である配管部材を特定する脚部継手特定部と、前記脚部継手特定部により脚部継手として特定された配管部材を基点として鉛直上方向に接続されていく管を探索し、探索された管を立て管として特定し、前記脚部継手特定部により脚部継手として特定された配管部材を基点として水平方向に接続されていく管を探索し、探索された管を横主管として特定する管種別特定部とを備えて配管設計支援システムを構成する。【選択図】図7
