To provide an anchor device for tanks which allows a large diameter tank to be installed in a simple process and is excellent in pull-out resistance, and a construction method for the anchor device.SOLUTION: An anchor device comprises: an anchor frame having an upper ring plate in an annular shape, a lower ring plate in an annular shape, and a stanchion member engaging the upper ring plate and the lower ring plate to face opposite to each other as holding a specific gap therebetween; a height adjusting member capable of adjusting a height position of the anchor frame for a surface of substrate concrete; and an anchor bolt that is fixed on at least one of the upper ring plate and the lower ring plate and partly buried in a mat foundation structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
