To provide a gypsum molded article production method which can obtain a gypsum molded article having a desires designability surface.SOLUTION: A gypsum molded article production method has: a diluted casein formation step of immersing casein into water of 1 pt.mass or more and 20 pts.mass or less based on 1 pt.mass for 3 hours or more and 6 hours or less and then heating the same at 70°C or more and 90°C or less and adding ammonia water by 0.2 pts.mass based on 1 pt.mass of casein to form diluted casein; a kneading step of kneading a body composition including hydrated lime of 10 pts.mass or more and 100 pts.mass or less and diluted casein of 50 pts.mass or more and 90 pts.mass or less with respect to hemihydrate gypsum of 100 pts.mass to obtain a body kneaded composition; an arrangement step of arranging a designability surface material with a composition different from that of the body kneaded composition on a surface of the body kneaded composition; a molding step of molding the body kneaded composition arranged with the designability surface material into a prescribed shape; and a drying step of drying the molded body kneaded composition to obtain a gypsum molded articled in which the designability surface material is exposed to the surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】所望の意匠性表面を有する石膏成形物を得ることのできる石膏成形物の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、カゼインを1質量部あたり1質量部以上20質量部以下の水に3時間以上6時間以下で浸漬した後、70℃以上90℃以下に加熱してアンモニア水をカゼイン1質量部あたり0.2質量部添加して希釈カゼインを生成する希釈カゼイン生成工程と、半水石膏100質量部に対して、消石灰10質量部以上100質量部以下、及び希釈カゼイン50質量部以上90質量部以下、を含む本体組成物を混練することによって本体混練組成物を得る混練工程と、本体混練組成物の表面に当該本体混練組成物とは組成の異なる意匠性表面材料を配置する配置工程と、意匠性表面材料が配置された本体混練組成物を所定形状に成形する成形工程と、成形された本体混練組成物を乾燥させて意匠性表面材料が表面に露出する石膏成形物を得る乾燥工程と、を含む。【選択図】なし
