To provide a glass partition wall that has fireproof performance but does not impair the beauty of the entire room, offering excellent design qualities.SOLUTION: A partition wall 10 comprises a glass panel and a holder 100 holding the glass panel. The holder 100 has a pair of opposing walls 110 and a bottom surface 112, and has a U-shaped cross section opening toward the glass panel side. The partition wall 10 comprises a fixing portion 300 between an edge surface 210 of the glass panel and the bottom surface 112, and has a deformation absorbing space 111 between the opposing walls 110 and the glass panel. The deformation absorbing space 111 can absorb expansion or deformation of the glass panel due to heat during a fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
