BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
To provide: a buckling restraint brace capable of ensuring sufficient rigidity in the end regions in a longitudinal direction; and a manufacturing method of buckling restraint brace superior in weldability and capable of ensuring welding quality.SOLUTION: A buckling restraint brace 100 includes: a steel core material 10; a pair of restraining materials 30 arranged to face two wide surfaces 10a; end plates 14 that are welded to ends 12a of the wide parts 12, respectively; a pair of stiffeners 50 that are welded to both sides 31 of the pair of restraining materials 30; and end reinforcement materials 15 that each surround at least the wide part 12. The end reinforcement material 15 includes: two joining plates 17 perpendicular to the wide part 12; and two reinforcing plates 16 connecting the same. The end reinforcement material 15 is formed by welding the neighboring joining plate 17 and reinforcing plate 16. The joining plate 17 is welded to an end 12b of the wide part 12, and an end portion 17b of the joint plate 17 is welded to the end plate 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】長手方向の端部領域における十分な剛性が担保された座屈拘束ブレースと、溶接性に優れ、溶接品質を担保できる座屈拘束ブレースの製作方法を提供すること。【解決手段】座屈拘束ブレース100は、鋼製の芯材10と、2つの広幅面10aに対向するように配設されている一対の拘束材30と、広幅部12の端部12aに溶接接合されるエンドプレート14と、一対の拘束材30の両側面31に溶接接合されている一対の補剛材50と、少なくとも広幅部12を包囲する端部補強材15とを有し、端部補強材15は、広幅部12に直交する2つの接合板17と、これらを繋ぐ2つの補強板16とを備え、隣接する接合板17と補強板16が溶接接合されることにより端部補強材15が形成され、広幅部12の端部12bに接合板17が溶接接合され、接合板17の端部17bがエンドプレート14に溶接接合されている。【選択図】図6
