To prevent insufficient hardness and strength of a heavy rare earth slurry coating layer used for diffusion treatment, easy wear, shrinkage during a diffusion process, uneven diffusion due to excessive supply of heavy rare earth elements in a short period of time, and waste of heavy rare earth elements.SOLUTION: A heavy rare earth slurry used for diffusion treatment of an R-Fe-B magnetic material includes heavy rare earth powder, an organic adhesive, spherical heat-resistant ceramic powder and organic solvent, the average particle size of the spherical heat-resistant ceramic powder is 5 to 10 times the average particle size of the heavy rare earth powder, and the weight of the spherical heat-resistant ceramic powder is 10 to 30% of the weight of the heavy rare earth powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】拡散処理に用いる重希土類スラリー塗布層の硬度・強度不足、摩耗し易さ、拡散工程における収縮、重希土類元素の短時間での過剰な供給による拡散のばらつき、重希土類元素の浪費を防止する。【解決手段】R-Fe-B系磁性体の拡散処理に用いる重希土類スラリーであって、重希土類粉末、有機接着剤、球状耐熱セラミック粉末及び有機溶剤を含み、前記球状耐熱セラミック粉末の平均粒子径は、前記重希土類粉末の平均粒子径の5~10倍であり、前記球状耐熱セラミック粉末の重量は、前記重希土類粉末の重量の10~30%である。【選択図】図1
