To provide a ridge and a method for forming the ridge, which is excellent in application to a self-propelled mower and can promote mechanization of weeding work.SOLUTION: A ridge 41 forming a boundary between divided fields has a triangular cross section. Further, it includes a flat core member 42 whose lower portion is buried in the ground, and a ridge main body portion 43 formed by embanking so as to cover a protruding portion of the core member 42 above the ground. The ridge main body portion 43 has flat slopes 43a, 43a that slope downward from an upper edge 42a of the core member 42 toward the ground. The cross section is formed in a triangular shape with the upper edge 42a of the core member 42 as the apex.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】自走式草刈機の適用に優れ、除草作業の機械化を促進させることが可能な畦畔及び畦畔の形成方法を提供する。【解決手段】区画された圃場の境界を形成する畦畔４１において、横断面が三角形状に形成されている。また、下部が地中に埋設された平板状のコア部材４２と、該コア部材４２の地上への突出部分を覆うように盛土して形成された畦畔本体部４３とを備え、畦畔本体部４３は、コア部材４２の上縁部４２ａから地面の方向に下り傾斜する平坦な斜面４３ａ，４３ａを有し、横断面がコア部材４２の上縁部４２ａを頂部とする三角形状に形成されている。【選択図】図６
