To provide a blind that can display bright, high-contrast images, a slat that can form the blind, and a projection system that can display bright, high-contrast images.SOLUTION: A slat 12 includes a slat body 12a, triangular prism-shaped protrusions 126 which individually have a bottom surface fixed to at least one surface of the slat body 12a, one surface inclined relative to the normal direction of the one surface of the slat body 12a, and another surface inclined in a direction different from the direction in which the one surface inclines relative to the normal direction of the one surface of the slat body 12a, and are arranged along the extension direction of the slat body 12a and arranged in a row in a direction intersecting the extension direction, reflective layers 128 formed on one surface to reflect incident light and absorbing layers 127 formed on the other surface to absorb incident light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
