METHOD FOR REGENERATING PAVEMENT LAYER AND REGENERATED PAVEMENT LAYER OBTAINED THEREBY
To provide a method for regenerating a pavement layer capable of constructing a regenerated pavement layer by securing sufficient compaction property and heavy machine running property even when an existing pavement to be an object of construction appears to have excessive moisture, and a regenerated pavement layer obtained by the method.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by providing: a method for regenerating a pavement layer in which a part of an existing pavement is used as a regenerated aggregate comprises a step of adding a water-absorbent material when the water content of the regenerated aggregate to be used exceeds a target water content, and matching the apparent water content of the regenerated aggregate, which is obtained by subtracting the mass of water absorbed by the water-absorbent material from the mass of water contained in the regenerated aggregate, with the target water content; and a regenerated pavement layer obtained by the method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 施工対象となる既設舗装が水分過剰と思われる状態にあるときにも、十分な締め固め性と重機走行性を確保して、再生舗装層を構築することができる舗装層の再生工法と、それによって得られる再生舗装層を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 既設舗装の一部を再生骨材として使用する舗装層の再生工法であって、使用する前記再生骨材の含水比が目標とする含水比を上回るとき、吸水性材料を添加して、前記再生骨材が含む水分の質量から前記吸水性材料が吸収する水分の質量を除いて求められる前記再生骨材の見掛けの含水比を前記目標とする含水比と一致させる工程を含む舗装層の再生工法と、それによって得られる再生舗装層を提供することによって上記課題を解決する。【選択図】 なし
