WATER STOP DEVICE
To provide a water-stop device excellent in water-stopping properties capable of being easily installed.SOLUTION: The water stop device is a device that is installed at the indoor side of a frame that is placed at the boundary between indoors and outdoors forming an opening. The water stop device includes: a water stop plate having left and right vertical frame opposing parts that face the left and right vertical frames of the frame in the forecast direction and a lower facing part that faces a lower frame or the lower surface at the interior of the frame to cover the opening; a sealing material that is provided on each part facing the vertical frame and the lower facing part; and a support member for supporting the water stop plate, which is provided to the left and right indoor walls facing each other on the indoor side of the frame. The support member includes: an indoor fix member fixed to the indoor wall; a shaft that is inserted into a recess in the indoor fix member to support the water stop plate; and a water stop plate fix member that is fixed to the water stop plate and has a hollow space through which the shaft is inserted. By rotating the shaft, the water stop plate is moved, compressing the sealing material to seal off the water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
