To provide an anticorrosive composition that reduces the workload and can inhibit re-deterioration over time after repairs, as well as a method for inhibiting corrosion in metal material and a method for repairing a reinforced concrete structure.SOLUTION: An anticorrosive composition contains nitrite, thermoplastic resin, and water. The thermoplastic resin is preferably SBR resin. The thermoplastic resin content is preferably 5-50 mass%. The nitrite is preferably lithium nitrite. 【課題】作業負担が小さく、補修後の経年再劣化を抑制することの可能な、防食組成物、金属材料の腐食抑制方法及び鉄筋コンクリート構造物の補修方法を提供する。【解決手段】亜硝酸塩、熱可塑性樹脂、及び水を含む防食組成物である。熱可塑性樹脂がSBR樹脂であることが好ましい。熱可塑性樹脂の含有量が5~50質量%であることが好ましい。亜硝酸塩が亜硝酸リチウムであることが好ましい。亜硝酸塩の含有量が1~30質量%であることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
