To reliably absorb energy during an earthquake without requiring large-scale construction.SOLUTION: In an earthquake energy absorption device, an energy absorption device main body 11 has a deforming portion 11c between an RC beam fixing portion 11a fixed to an RC beam that is a structural skeleton and a non-structural wall fixing portion 11b fixed to a non-structural wall, has three or more locations in total of the RC beam fixing portions 11a and the non-structural wall fixing portions 11b, and has two or more deforming portions 11c. The RC beam fixing portion 11a is provided with a structural skeleton connecting member 12 embedded in the RC beam and connecting the energy absorption device main body 11 to the RC beam. The non-structural wall fixing portion 11b is provided with a non-structural wall connecting member 13 embedded in the non-structural wall and connecting the energy absorption device main body 11 to the non-structural wall. The deforming portion 11c has a curved portion 11c1 that is curved so as to bulge outward in a short direction of the energy absorption device main body 11 to form a through hole 11c2, to weaken its strength compared to the RC beam fixing portion 11a and the non-structural wall fixing portion 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
