The present invention relates to an elastic windbreak device for a window. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the elastic windbreak device for a window capable of selectively moving upwards or downwards due to an elastic force controlled by an external force to increase an airtightness and an insulting effect by preventing an air flow to an indoor space through a space unit between the rails of a window frame when a sliding window is closed, maintaining the state where the elastic windbreak device is moved downwards when the window is open to smoothly slide, and closing an overall space unit between the rails when the window is closed. The elastic windbreak device for a window is characterized by comprising: an elastic lifting unit (1) composed of a fixed case (11) fixated to the window frame, a lifting case (12) received inside the fixed case (11) moving upwards and downwards, and an elasticity providing unit (13) maintaining the state where the lifting case (12) is moved upwards or downwards or providing a lifting force; an airtight material supporting frame (2) joined to the upper part of an elastic lifting unit (1); and an airtight material (3) installed in a top of the supporting frame (2), and being in face-contact with an underside of the window while the lifting case (12) is moved upwards.
