The present invention relates to a potable remote control key for vehicles and, in particular, to a potable remote control key for vehicles, including: a lower body wherein electronic components are placed, a battery for supply power to the electronic components is inserted and seated, and a battery housing made up by a first forcible insertion rib protruding outward prevents water penetration from the outside; an upper body coupled to the lower body around the electronic components; and a battery cover part to close the battery housing, wherein a second forcible insertion rib is forcibly inserted in the first forcible insertion rib to adhere to the surface of the first forcible insertion rib for a predetermined width along the outer circumference. Therefore, the potable remote control key for vehicles has improved sealability.
