The present invention relates to an apparatus to dispose food waste, comprising: a food waste pulverizer pulverizing the food waste including water content discharged from a drain of a sink; a microorganism disposal device decomposing solid content among the pulverized material, generated by the food waste pulverizer, using microorganisms; a connection tube moving the pulverized material from the food waste pulverizer to the microorganism disposal device; and a pulverized material separator installed in an upper part of the microorganism disposal device and connected to the connection tube to separate the pulverized material, flowing in via the connection tube, into the solid content and the water content to move the solid content to the microorganism disposal device and discharge the water content. As such, the present invention pulverizes the food waste and separates the water content from the solid content of the pulverized food waste to input only the solid content into the microorganism disposal device such that the waste decomposition is smoothly performed by the microorganisms, and preventing the extinction of the microorganisms caused by the salt content included in the water content.
본 발명은 음식물 쓰레기 처리 장치에 관한 것으로, 싱크대의 배수구로부터 배출되는 수분을 포함하는 음식물 쓰레기를 분쇄하는 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기와, 상기 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기에 분쇄된 분쇄물 중 고형분을 미생물을 이용하여 분해하는 미생물 처리기와, 상기 음식물 쓰레기 분쇄기로부터의 상기 분쇄물을 상기 미생물 처리기로 이동시키는 연결관과, 상기 미생물 처리기의 상부에 설치되고, 상기 연결관과 연결되어 상기 연결관을 통해 유입되는 상기 분쇄물 중 상기 고형분과 수분을 분리하여 상기 고형분을 상기 미생물 처리기로 이동시키고 상기 수분을 배출시키는 분쇄물 분리기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라, 음식물 쓰레기를 분쇄하고 분쇄된 음식물 쓰레기의 고형분으로부터 수분을 분리하여 고형분만을 미생물 처리기로 투입함으로써 미생물에 의한 쓰레기 분해가 원활하게 이루어지고 수분에 포함된 염분으로 미생물이 사멸되는 등의 문제점을 막을 수 있다.
