The present invention relates to a step bolt for a utility pole, used when a worker climbs up/down the utility pole for repair and replacement of communication related parts, such as an antenna, and the like, installed on the utility pole, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, a new lock ring coupling method, which forms a lock ring seat surface on a step bolt body side and forms the inner diameter of a lock ring in a tapered shape to press-fit the lock ring in the lock ring seat surface of the step bolt body side when coupling the lock ring installed in the step bolt, is implemented to improve manufacturability and productivity of the step bolt, which includes lock ring coupling work, and the like. Moreover, a close coupling state of the lock ring is always maintained, thereby securing the quality of a step bolt product and improving installation workability. Moreover, a new step bolt manufacturing method with concept of automation, which continuously performs a lock ring coupling process when the step bolt is forged by using press mold equipment, is implemented, thereby improving efficiency in a manufacturing process of the step bolt and manufacturing an excellent step bolt with high quality.
본 발명은 전신주에 설치되는 안테나 등과 같은 통신 관련 부품의 수리 및 교체 등을 위해 작업자가 전신주를 타고 오를 때 사용하는 스텝 볼트와 이 스텝 볼트를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 스텝 볼트에 구비되는 로크링의 결합 시 스텝 볼트 본체측에 로크링 자리면을 성형함과 더불어 로크링 내경을 테이퍼 형상으로 성형하여, 스텝 볼트 본체의 로크링 자리면에 로크링을 강제 압입하여 결합하는 새로운 로크링 결합 방식을 구현함으로써, 로크링 결합 작업 등을 포함하는 스텝 볼트의 제작성 및 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 로크링의 긴밀한 결합 상태를 상시 유지하여 스텝 볼트 제품의 품질을 확보할 수 있음은 물론 설치 작업성을 향상시킬 수 있는 한편, 프레스 금형 설비를 이용한 스텝 볼트의 단조 성형 시에 로크링 결합 공정을 연계적으로 수행하는 자동화 개념의 새로운 스텝 볼트 제조 방식을 구현함으로써, 스텝 볼트의 제조 공정의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 고품질의 우수한 스텝 볼트를 제조할 수 있는 전신주용 스텝 볼트 및 제조방법을 제공한다.
