본 발명은 방수 및 방습 기능을 갖는 이격단열재 및 이를 이용한 시공방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 건물 바닥, 벽체, 지붕의 단열 및 방수를 위한 이격단열재와 이를 이용하여 지하나 지층과 같이 습기에 의한 문제가 발생되는 바닥, 벽면, 지붕을 간단하고 효율적으로 단열 시공할 수 있는 시공방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 이격단열재는 소정의 두께를 가지며, 단열 소재로 형성되는 본체와; 상기 본체의 하면으로부터 하방으로 돌출되고, 서로 이격되게 배치되는 복수의 지지돌기부와; 상기 본체와 상기 지지돌기부의 방수 및 방습을 위해 상기 본체와 상기 지지돌기부의 외주면을 감싸도록 형성되는 방수부;를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
