COUPLER APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING REINFORCING BAR USING SLEEVE WITH TAPERED INTERNAL THREAD AND REINFORCING BAR CONNECTING METHOD USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a coupler apparatus for connecting a reinforcing bar using a sleeve with a tapered internal thread, and a reinforcing bar connecting method using the same. According to the present invention, a fastener applying a torque to first and second reinforcing bars is used to easily connect the first and second reinforcing bars while proceeding by corresponding to rotation of the sleeve with the tapered internal thread, and the coupler apparatus can be applied to reinforcing bars with various diameters which can be inserted into a reinforcing bar insertion groove. In addition, when a predetermined torque is applied by fixing and inserting a liquid capsule to a lower portion of the fastener with the tapered internal thread, field inspection can be implemented by visually checking a proper torque by ejecting liquid of the liquid capsule. In particular, if the reinforcing bar has a large diameter, the reinforcing bar can be fixed by using additional means such as epoxy or the like.
테이퍼형 암나사산을 갖는 슬리브의 회전에 대응하여 진행하면서 제1 및 제2 철근에 토크를 가하는 조임쇠를 이용하여 제1 및 제2 철근을 용이하게 연결할 수 있고, 철근 삽입홈 내에 삽입 가능한 다양한 지름을 갖는 철근 크기에 적용할 수 있고, 또한, 테이퍼형 수나사산을 갖는 조임쇠의 하부에 액체 캡슐을 고정 삽입하여 소정 토크가 가해질 경우 액체 캡슐 내의 액체를 분출시킴으로써, 적정한 토크를 육안으로 확인하여 현장 검사가 가능하며, 특히, 대구경의 철근의 경우, 에폭시 등으로 추가 고정할 수 있는, 테이퍼형 암나사산을 갖는 슬리브를 이용한 철근 연결용 커플러 장치 및 이를 이용한 철근이음 방법이 제공된다.
