The present invention relates to a waterproof asphalt concrete composition and a construction method using the composition, wherein the waterproof asphalt concrete composition contains, based on 100 parts by weight of asphalt: 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a latex resin; 1 to 25 parts by weight of styrene isoprene styrene; 1 to 25 parts by weight of a styrene ethylene butylene styrene copolymer; 1 to 25 parts by weight of a petroleum resin; 500 to 2,000 parts by weight of aggregate; 30 to 150 parts by weight of aggregate powder; 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of cellulose fiber; 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of wax; and 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of an antioxidant. The waterproof asphalt concrete composition according to the present invention, the waterproof asphalt concrete composition containing a latex resin to be specific, is highly durable and waterproof by having high levels of cohesiveness and binding force. In addition, plastic deformation, aging, and/or peeling is unlikely to occur, infiltrating water and potholes can be prevented, and a pouring process can be carried out with ease and at a low cost.
본 발명은 아스팔트 100중량부 기준으로, 라텍스 수지 0.1 내지 5중량부; 스티렌이소프렌스티렌 1 내지 25중량부; 스티렌에틸렌부틸렌스티렌 공중합체 1 내지 25중량부; 석유수지 1 내지 25중량부; 골재 500 내지 2,000중량부; 미분말골재 30 내지 150중량부; 셀룰로오스 섬유 0.1 내지 2중량부; 왁스 0.1 내지 2중량부; 및 산화방지제 0.1 내지 2중량부를 포함하는 방수아스팔트 콘크리트 조성물 및 이를 이용한 시공방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 방수아스팔트 콘크리트 조성물, 특정적으로 라텍스 수지를 포함하는 방수아스팔트 콘크리트 조성물은 고응집력과 고결합력을 구비하여 방수성이 우수하고, 내구성이 좋고, 소성변형, 노화 및/또는 박리가 쉽게 발생하지 않으면서도, 침투수 및 포트홀을 방지하고, 저비용으로 타설공정을 용이하게 수행할 수 있도록 하는 등의 효과가 있다.
