The present invention provides a grass protection mat for a support mat which can reinforce strength at an edge of the grass protection mat. The grass protection mat for a support mat comprises: a frame which is located upward from support mats to form a space in which grass is located on an upper portion of the support mats arranged adjacent to each other without a distance from the ground and has grass passage holes; and a plurality of pillars extending downward from a lower surface of the frame and having a lower end to be placed on upper surfaces of the support mats.
