본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 세라믹 폼의 제조방법은, 세라믹원료로 이루어지는 원료물질 분말에 물과 분산제를 첨가하여 슬러리를 제조하는 슬러리 제조 단계, 상기 슬러리에 기포제를 첨가하고 교반기로 교반하여 외부공기를 상기 슬러리로 유입시켜 상기 슬러리를 발포한 후, 상기 외부공기의 유입을 차단한 채 교반하는 슬러리 발포 단계, 상기 발포된 슬러리에 겔화제를 첨가한 후 교반기로 교반하는 겔화제 첨가 단계, 기 설정된 형상을 가지는 몰드에 상기 겔화제가 첨가된 슬러리를 주입하여 성형하는 성형 단계 및 상기 주입된 슬러리가 상기 몰드 내에서 겔화되어 형성된 성형체를 상기 몰드로부터 탈형하는 탈형 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
A ceramic foam according to one aspect of the present invention comprises pores having an average diameter of 30-180 μm, a porosity of 50-90%, and the number density of macropores whose pore diameter (d) is greater than that of a reference pore diameter (D) can be limited among the pores observed in an observation area of 2.5*2.5 mm^2 when observing a cross section using a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
